There, not only is there alot of traffic all hours of the night but everyone drives with their hand laying on the horn. I actually slept through it, even though my partner isn't much of a snorer. The city is alot more fun than suburbia, which is of course the dilemma I face trying to choose to move to a quieter place.

My husband and I spent month in New York City in an apartment on a busy street corner with lots of traffic and street noise. I slept like a baby! The "white noise" of that city totally absorbed the noise of my husband's snoring. We got back to suburbia and I haven't been able to sleep well since! With all that peace and quiet, all I can hear is that snoring! Here’s a twist for you on the sleeping thing.
